Shaniwarwada is a 286 years old mansion which was once the seat of the Peshwa governance in Pune. It is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Pune. The wada is full of fountains, greenary. In the center, there was a giant wooden palace which got struck with a lightening because of which it got heavily damaged. Shanivarwada is surrounded by some of the oldest markets of Pune such as Tulshibaugh, Ravivar Peth, Laxmi Road, etc.
