Unwritten rules of using a Credit Card

Using Credit Cards can be very rewarding as that gets you rewards point which can be utilised for paying off the bills, used for converting points into Airmiles or for getting hotel vouchers, and so much more. 

However, you must follow these unwritten rules to maintain your financial health:

1. Never delay in making your Credit Card payment. Always pay on time as there are implications on your Credit Score, you are subjected to pay late fees, and exhorbitant interest rate on the pending amount.

2. Never manufacture expenses for the sake of spending and meeting spend criteria or milestones. However lucrative it may be, don't overspend.

3. Don't spend more than your monthly income or more than you can pay off from savings. However it is a bad idea to spend your money parked for savings/ emergencies.
